How do I buy tickets with M-Pesa?
Pick your event, choose your tickets and tap Pay. An M-Pesa prompt pops up on your phone; enter your PIN and your tickets arrive by SMS and email within seconds. No paybill number to copy.
Do I need an account to buy tickets?
No. You can check out with just your phone number. Create a free account later to keep all your tickets, bookings and invitations in one wallet.
Can I pay for tickets or trips in instalments?
Yes. Where the organiser allows it, pay a deposit now and the rest in weekly or monthly instalments (lipa mdogo mdogo). Your ticket or travel pass is released when the plan is complete.
Will I pay anything on top of the ticket price?
No. The price you see is the price you pay. M-Pesa and card charges are covered by the organiser.
Where are my tickets?
In the SMS and email we send after payment. Lost them? Use Find my tickets (in the footer) with the phone number or email you paid with and we send the links again; no account needed. Show the QR code at the gate. If your phone dies, give the ticket code from your SMS.
Can I get a refund?
Each event shows its refund policy before you buy. If an event is cancelled you are refunded automatically to the number you paid with.
Do you sell sports tickets and race packages?
Yes: football, rugby, athletics and marathons, motorsport, golf, boxing and more, plus race weekends that bundle the bib, transport and hotel in one booking.
Can my club, team or company book as a group?
Yes. Buy several tickets in one order and send each one to its holder by SMS, or ask the organiser for group pricing.
I was invited to a wedding or event. How do I reply?
Open the link in your SMS or WhatsApp, or go to aiyotickets.com/i and enter your phone number and invite code. No email or app needed.
I organise events. How do I sell on aiyotickets?
Create a free organiser account, verify your business with your ID and KRA PIN, and publish. You pay a 5% commission per ticket sold, VAT on that commission and the payment charges, all deducted from your sales, and get paid to M-Pesa or your bank after the event.
Can organisers get money before the event?
Verified organisers with ticket sales on aiyotickets can request an advance on the money already collected, repaid automatically from the final payout.
Is aiyotickets only for Nairobi?
No. We sell events across Kenya, from Nairobi and Mombasa to Kisumu, Nakuru and Eldoret, and sports trips across East Africa.
