The 25th Kilimanjaro Marathon runs on Sunday 7 February 2027 in Moshi, Tanzania, finishing at MoCU Stadium at the foot of the mountain. This year the full marathon is an official Comrades qualifier.
Pick how long you stay: every package is the road trip from Nairobi and back plus your room in Moshi, sharing. Add your race bib (KES 2,900 for any distance) and any of the extras you fancy: the Materuni waterfall and a Chagga coffee farm, the turquoise Kikuletwa hot springs, a Moshi town walk, Saturday’s pasta night and, if you stay Sunday night, the recovery dinner and a night out at Red Stone. Two nights, Friday to Sunday, is the one most runners choose.
Before you travel
- A valid passport (Namanga is a one-stop border post).
- A yellow fever certificate, taken at least 10 days before entry, and malaria prophylaxis.
- Race numbers are collected in person in Moshi before race day; there is no collection on Sunday morning. We go together.
